True Gentlemen’s Happiest Birthday
Posted on March 20th, 2018
Do you ever have trouble making masculine cards? I do! It seems as if I favor flowers, Melon Mambo cardstock, glitter paper… But I also have a husband, two sons, a grandson, a brother, and father-in-law to make cards for. I’m thinking they wouldn’t appreciate those pink cards with flowers and glitter on them!
That’s why I’m so excited about the True Gentlemen Suite in Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Occasions catalog. The Designer Series Paper reminds me of the men’s wear department at an upscale department store. Plaids, wood buttons, navy corduroy ribbon, and a fun selection of stamps are all part of this suite.
In the video below, I demonstrate how I made the card pictured above, as well as other ideas for these products. You will find links to all the products I use to make the card listed below the video.
If you watch the video all the way to the end, you will find a free offer just for you. I’m hoping you’re interested and leave your comment below.
Enjoy the video and have a great day!
I enjoyed your video & the use of the cable embossing folder was a great idea. Thanks
My husband is an artist and he has been creating what I call “dude” appropriate cards. I love the colors that you’ve chosen for this card.
Okay, this is very far outside of what I do. I appreciate people who slow down enough to write cards and make cards. I always have good intentions. But we know what they say about that. I think cards show intentional engagement with people that we care about. Thanks for sharing your talent and passion with us!
