So Thankful Pals Blog Hop
Posted on November 12th, 2013
Thank you for joining us for the November Pals Blog Hop. We are thankful that you are visiting today, and we hope you enjoy our thank you inspired projects.
You should have just left stop number six on the Pals Hop, Mary Fish at Stampin Pretty. If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so that you will see all of the amazing creations.
The project that I’ve chosen to share with you is a page that I created yesterday using My Digital Studio. Like many of you, I am most thankful for my family, and so it seemed fitting that I use pictures of my granddaughter discovering the joy of playing in the fallen oak leaves in their yard. I am also VERY thankful for my children who take lots of pictures of my precious girl.
I’ve had My Digital Studio for several years, but I am just now teaching myself to use it. (The only other page that I’ve created was a layout for a MDS Challenge last December.) During Lisa Pretto’s MDS Basics Webinar last week, she challenged each of us to use the software to create a project–good advice because I usually open the program, play around with it, and then quit without actually completing something. The good news is that the program is fairly simple to use if you have used any type of layout program.
I used two digital downloads to create the page: Autumn Spice Digital Kit and Fall Memories November Kit. The downloads come with designer papers, embellishments and stamps for a very reasonable price. I also love the fact that I can use the elements to create hybrid cards. November is Digital Scrapbooking month, so why not give MDS a try? Download a 30-day free trial and check it out!
