Do you still believe in Santa, or have you stopped setting out your stocking and leaving cookies for the jolly ole elf? Our grown children still leave their stockings out on Christmas Eve because we have always told them Santa sure won’t come if there are no stockings out. So far, they’ve yet to be disappointed!

I saw this card on Joanne James’ blog and liked it so much that I had to CASE it with a few adjustments. I must admit that even though I love the Home for Christmas DSP, I’ve had a hard time figuring out how to use it on a card. The images are delightful, though, and I’ve spent several evenings cutting out Santas, Poinsettias, trees and presents.  And, of course, one of the great things about Stampin’ Up! DSP is that the reverse side of each sheet has a different pattern that works well as a background, as this card demonstrates.

So I’ve surprised myself, and I’m down to a couple of partial sheets of the pack when I worried about how I would use it when I first opened it. Confirmation, yet again, of why I stick with Stampin’ Up! products: they coordinate so well with every other product offered, and their prints sometimes take me a little out of my comfort zone in a good way! Before I found Stampin’ Up!, I found myself stuck with cute but random sheets of patterned paper that mainly collected dust.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Versatile Christmas set. If I ordered one holiday set this year, I would probably choose this one!

You can see that I turned right around and made two more of this card since it turned out so cute. I still have several little Santa cutouts on my shelf, so some of them will probably find their way onto gift tags. But that’s a post for a different day!  Be sure to check in tomorrow, as I still have several more cards to share.
