Here is another fun treat that I’ll be selling at the MOPS Craft Fair next week. Who doesn’t love a little chocolate tidbit? I haven’t run across many people who don’t over the years. Once again, my inspiration came from Heidi Boos over at Stuck on Stamping. One of the great things about the Internet is being able to connect with creative, crafty people that I would never have a chance to meet.

This treat has four Hershey’s Nuggets wrapped in DSP,  resting in a cardstock tray.  The tray slides down in a pretzel bag that is tied with ribbon; I found the pretzel bags in the baking aisle at Michaels.  The tag is mounted on a 1 – 3/4″ square of cherry cobbler cardstock and attached to the bag with a Stampin Dimensional. I added cherry cobbler Dazzling Details to the holly berries and used a blender pen with old olive ink on the leaves.  Little touches like these make handmade gifts extra special.

Once again, the joy of creating little treats becomes a challenge when mass producing them. I have become adept at creating a factory assembly line over the last few weeks with one lone worker–me! As I assembled these candy trays, I was reminded of the hilarious I Love Lucy scene where Lucy and Ethel work at a chocolate factory wrapping candies; of course, they wreak havoc and end up eating as many candies as they wrap. If you have a few minutes and want to laugh until you cry, you can watch the clip on YouTube.  The surprising news is that I managed to make all the nugget trays without eating a single candy.  Good thing, too, as I was able to make exactly 37 trays of nuggets from one large bag from Sams Club. Here’s a picture of the whole lot in a two-tier basket that I picked up at Target. I rationalized that it will make a great fruit basket on my counter after the big craft sale.
