This set of eight cards grew from being quick gift tags to a deluxe set of 3 x 3″ Christmas cards, complete with 3×3 envelopes and little hand stamped stickers for sealing the envelopes. Just slipping them into a clear bag didn’t seem to do them justice. Each set of eight cards now resides in cardstock box with an acetate lined window in the top to showcase the cards. A strip of Season of Style DSP dresses up the lid of the box.

The base of the cards is crumb cake cardstock that has been dry embossed and decorated with one of eight designs that you see in the photos.  Although this set was labor intensive, I had fun making them. I ended up making six sets for the upcoming craft fair. Have you ever made a card that you loved so much it was hard to give away? I am nearly that attached to these little cards!

I’ve only just finished the last set of them, and now I’m chasing my tail trying to gather everything together for the craft fair tomorrow. I’ve given workshops for over 100 teachers for years after leaving the classroom, but I don’t think that I prepared any less for one of those than I have for this one little craft fair. I plan to take pictures and let you know how it goes. I’m hoping to sell out, but we will see. Whatever happens, I plan to enjoy myself and meet some new people. Thanks for visiting my blog and have a great day!
