A Sweet Treat in Thanks

The consultants where I work provide a luncheon for our administrative assistants the week of Administrative Assistant’s Day. This year, I will be out of the office, so I decided to give them a little treat to thank them for all their hard work. Besides our personal admins, there are people who run the print shop, answer the phones, handle our budgets, and so forth. I remembered seeing some cute treat boxes that Angie made over on her Chicken Scratch blog, and then I found a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers for a treat bag holder designed for 3″X5″ cellophane bags, so I created something similar. Each bag contains a couple of Ghirardelli chocolates.
Once again, I’m using up some of my stock of paper and ribbons, waiting for my Stampin’Up! order. I love the little saying in the For All You Do set and the sweet flower from the Bordering on Romance set. I made 12 of the bags, so I wanted something quick. To step it up a notch, I embossed the back and flaps of the bags with the Big Shot and added a rhinestone to the center of the flower. They should add a touch of bright cheer to the ladies’ day. What fun!!
such a fun and delicious idea! hugs, mary
