I have resolved to participate in challenges as frequently as possible, and The MojoMonday weekly challenge is an excellent one for me. I tend to use several basic designs when creating cards, and MOJO design team stretches me way beyond my boundaries with many of their sketches. When I first saw the sketch for this week, I groaned, as it seemed so busy to me. It helps, though,  to see what others have done with the sketch. You can check out the beautiful cards posted on the MOJO Monday website.

I had decided that I wanted to use the Be of Good Cheer DSP (Stampin’Up!, retired) that I bought last year and never used. The cardstock colors are Very Vanilla (embossed), Always Artichoke, & Cherry Cobbler. I used one of the stamps from the More Merry Messages stamp set and added Dazzling Details to the clear snowflake that I found in my stash from years back. The silver snowflake is a little brad I also had on hand, and I jazzed it up a bit with a rhinestone.

Challenge is an appropriate word for my work on this card. Good thing that I wasn’t getting paid by the hour to produce it; my husband watched an entire movie last night in the time it took me to make this one card. Let me know what you think of the results.

Thanks for stopping by!
