Happy Hoppy Easter
Posted on April 3rd, 2015
Easter is only a few days away, and I’ve been busy making goodies to share with friends and relatives. When I saw this cutie on Pinterest, I knew I had to make one. I love that all you can see of the bunny is his tail end and back feet, just like a kid diving head first into a big box of goodies.
The box is Pool Party cardstock cut from the Stampin’ Up! fry box die and decorated with Best Year Ever DSP. I used the Large Oval punch to create the handle at the top of the box.
The bunny’s body (1-3/4″ circle) and feet (Large Oval Punch) are Whisper White cardstock with Crisp Cantaloupe sponged around the edges. The pads of his feet are cut from Crisp Cantaloupe InColor 2014-15 DSP. His tail is a tiny piece of a cotton ball that I adhered to his body with Sticky Strip.
The greeting on the tag (Note Tag Punch) is from the For Peeps’ Sake stamp set. This punch is becoming one of my favorites, as it makes creating a professional looking tag quick and easy. I tied it to the box with some Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine.
This fry box is just the right size for a giving a small treat that won’t cause little ones a tummy ache from eating too much sugar.
I hope you have a joyous Easter weekend (possibly even a happy, hoppy one) with family and friends. Thanks for stopping by today!
Connie,
Your “bunny box” is adorable. I’ll be making a few of these today myself! Perfect for taking to an Easter dinner I am not hosting for once! 🙂 And your flower baskets are adorable! I don’t have that flower punch but am tempted to try it with one that I do have. Very clever and oh so cute! If it turns out, it will come with us on Sunday, too! Thanks for the inspiration! I love playing on spring break instead of doing the report cards I should be working on. 🙂 Have a wonderful Easter!
