Mojo 389: Cute Baby Boy
Posted on March 18th, 2015
It isn’t often anymore that I have a chance to send out best wishes to new parents, but one of my former students had a baby boy recently. We have reconnected on Facebook, and I was thrilled to see pictures of her precious baby boy. (Being the mother of two sons, I happen to think little boys are especially precious!)
This week’s Mojo Sketch is a good fit for this card, as it has a clean look that isn’t too fussy. The little sneakers from the Stampin’ Up Baby, We’ve Grown set seemed perfect, too. I am still drawn to displays of infant shoes in stores; they are so tiny and sweet. Since I plan to include a gift card, the sentiment I stamped inside is from the B.Y.O.P. set in the 2015 Occasions catalog. If you haven’t purchased this set yet, be sure to check it out. It has 16 sentiments that cover just about every occasion.
The Pool Party cardstock is embossed with the Honecomb embossing folder for a bit of texture and a strip of he Lullaby DSP creates the ribbon and picks up the Hello Honey in the polka dots. The bow is tied with Lost Lagoon Baker’s Twine from the Sale-A-Bration In Color Accessory Pack.
Isn’t stamping terrific? Instead of heading out to a big box store for a card, I get to play with pretty paper and stamps to design a card just for that special person I want to send greetings to. Even better, Stampin’ Up! products make it easy to coordinate colors and design elements.
Thanks for visiting my blog today and have a great Wednesday!
