Wow! One week until Christmas Eve and I’m still making cards and trying to figure out what to buy for some of my family members. Yes, making, not sending yet. I had better speed up, that’s for sure.

 

In spite of the rush, I couldn’t resist taking time to play with my new Curvy Box Framelit. It was back-ordered for quite some time, but so worth the wait. The box is made from two pieces that attach on the bottom. I decided to step it up a notch, and so I cut two additional pieces out of the Santa & Company DSP and glued them onto the Cherry Cobbler cardstock pieces. They were easy to match up and dried smoothly and securely.

 

The Santas on the DSP are quite whimsical with some still in their long-johns, and so it seemed fitting to add the Santa outfit tag and “Get Your Santa On” message from the Get Your Santa On stamp set. I colored the Santa suit with a Cherry Cobbler marker and added Dazzling Details to the fur for a little sparkle.

 

Now I need to run to the store for some chocolate candy to fill the little guys. I’m thinking that Hershey’s Nuggets might be a good choice. Who doesn’t like a little chocolate as a sweet treat from a friend?
